U.S. NAVY AMPHIBIOUS WARSHIP
CONGRESSIONAL FORUM RECAP

The Amphibious Warship Industrial Base Coalition (AWIBC) hosted its Congressional Forum on March 7th, 2024, with key Members of Congress, U.S. Navy and Marine Corps leadership, and industry leaders to discuss the importance of cost-effectively and efficiently constructing amphibious warships required by our nation.

The forum highlighted the importance of U.S. Navy amphibious warships and their critical role of enabling the Navy-Marine Corps team to deploy swiftly and aggressively from sea and air in times of crisis. Amphibious warship suppliers and key leadership had the opportunity to raise awareness and discuss the challenges facing the industrial base when it comes to inconsistent funding, the impact of the supply chain, and the importance of maintaining a steady production line for workforce stability. View more photos and event materials here.
